Meet our Juror: Lorna Meaden
Lorna Meaden grew up in the western suburb of Chicago, La Grange. After receiving a B.A. from Fort Lewis College in 1994, she established a studio in Durango, Colorado where she worked as a studio potter for the next eight years. She received an MFA in ceramics from Ohio University in June of 2005. She has recently been a resident artist at the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Montana, and at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado. She was featured as a demonstrator and lecturer at both the National Council on Education in Ceramic Arts, and Utilitarian Clay V: Celebrate the Object. Her work is represented by several national galleries. She is currently a studio potter in Durango, as well as Adjunct Professor of Art at Fort Lewis College.
